This is an important milestone for the project and a strong sign of momentum on the ground at Diamond Beach. For buyers who have been following the progress of Saltwater Shores, it marks the point where planning gives way to delivery and the vision for the site starts becoming physical and visible. Saltwater Shores has always been about more than a plan on paper. The project has been shaped with a clear focus on quality, presentation and long term value. With construction now underway, that intent is starting to take form on site. ![saltwater-shores-diamond-beach-site-aerial](https://saltwatershores.au/hs-fs/hubfs/saltwater-shores-diamond-beach-site-aerial.jpg?width=1200&height=630&name=saltwater-shores-diamond-beach-site-aerial.jpg) Image: March 2026 Early works are now in motion, with activity focused on getting the project moving through its first stage of delivery. As work progresses, buyers will start to see regular changes on the ground and a clearer picture of how the community will come together over time. For Saltwater Shores, this milestone also reflects the amount of work that has gone into getting the project to this point. Planning, design, approvals and coordination all sit behind the scenes. Construction commencement is where that work begins to show in a way buyers can actually see. Just as importantly, the site itself remains one of the project’s biggest strengths. Located at Diamond Beach in the Hallidays Point area, Saltwater Shores offers buyers access to a quiet stretch of the MidCoast with beaches, coastline and local amenity close at hand. The appeal of the project has always been tied to both the location and the way the community is being delivered. ![saltwater-shores-construction-commenced-aerial](https://saltwatershores.au/hs-fs/hubfs/saltwater-shores-construction-commenced-aerial.jpg?width=1200&height=630&name=saltwater-shores-construction-commenced-aerial.jpg) Image: April 2026 Over the coming months, we will continue to share updates as construction progresses.
